Pond as seen from the streambed. You can see only a bit of the golden
meadow which is 35 acres of community pasture. Just beyond that, at the
base of the hill in the distance, is the scenic Illinois River. In
summer the canoers and rafters are fun to watch. It is a short walk
to the river, pebble beach and flat rock. From flat rock you can
launch your own canoe or raft. Please note the golden meadow is lush green
in spring and summer! Below is a larger glimpse of it from our property
line.

Below is another view of the pond...

And yet another pond view from our property line... It looks larger in
real life. The hill or "mountain" in the background is 15,000 acres
of nature preserve which cna never be built up. That borders Sparrow Hawk
Village's entire northern line. The Village itself consists of 440 acres.
