Jungian Theory is like a religion. It’s a spiritual journey, the Hero’s
Journey as Joseph Campbell called it. Lady Heros are called Heroines,
and they travel the Great Journey, too, of course! The whole universe
seems to be moving toward balancing out the pairs of opposites, such as
dark and light, male and female, human and divine. Balance. It all comes
back to that—and synchronicity.
Are you an Introvert? Extrovert?
Intuitive? A thinker? Have you revealed your shadow? Your inner lover?
What is your destiny, your family’s? Dogs beget puppies, ducks beget ducklings,
and Gods beget Godlings. If the gods made us—in their image as some
say—then we are godlings. We’re in the process of becoming divine. If
we can just get all these little disparate parts of ourselves to agree
and live together inside our heads peacefully–we’ll be at Journey’s end.
Mythology and Jungian Theory are religion. Balancing pairs
of opposites, masculine and feminine, sacred and divine. Let your deities
speak!
